DESIGN ENGINEER

AG3 Group located in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Design Engineer with a Master Degree in Civil Engineering and 18 months experience.  Please send resume to:  lMagallanez@ag3-group.com

Duties:
Apply advanced knowledge of concepts, principles, and practices of civil engineering. Apply understanding of industry standard design processes and understanding of construction means and methods. Collect data and gather information or documents for a variety of civil engineering projects as well as traffic data. Perform standard engineering computations or analyses including traffic operation for transportation and traffic studies using Synchro, HCS, Visum and Vissim. Prepare drawings and visual aids for a variety of civil engineering projects. Perform fundamental engineering design tasks. Assist on other tasks such as field investigation, estimate preparation, CADD (Computer Aided Design and Drafting) work, and plan assembly. Attend meetings with supervisor and clients, as required. Responsible for understanding, interpreting, and applying applicable civil engineering codes, in compliance with regulations and professional standards of care. Apply knowledge and skill in using a variety of computer programs and technology used in solving civil engineering problems. Work within project scope, budgets, and design approach to deliver projects to clients on time, on budget, and at a high level of client service.
