Ayda Gonzalez, PE, President and CEO, has had an incredible start to 2025, making significant strides in both leadership and community engagement. In January, Ayda was honored by the VIA Board of Trustees for her unwavering dedication and service to the citizens of San Antonio, reflecting her commitment to improving the city she serves. Ayda was joined by her family, friends, and colleagues to celebrate this well-deserved recognition.

In February, Ayda joined her colleagues Marissa Vegara,PE, Anne Hoskin, PE, and Ellen McDonald, PhD, PE on the AWWA San Antonio’s Women for Water Galentine’s Panel, where she shared her passion for water and discussed what drives her dedication to both the field and her role as a business owner. Her insights on the importance of water conservation and her work in the sector sparked meaningful conversations.
