Position Overview

AG3 is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage surveying projects, mentor staff, and work closely with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and compliant land surveying services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and oversee boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, construction, and control surveys
  • Review and seal survey plats, legal descriptions, and related documents
  • Ensure all survey work complies with state and local regulations
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, and governmental agencies
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Supervise and mentor survey staff and field crews
  • Support business development efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license in the State of Texas
  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive land surveying experience
  • Strong knowledge of surveying principles, standards, and procedures
  • Proficiency with survey software and equipment (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Micro Station, GPS, total stations)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
